New Album of my Guitar Music

Wonderful addition to my works on recordings has just arrived. The guitarist Andrew Clegg has just released his latest recording, a collection of music for solo guitar by composers Nobuya Monta and Peter Byrom-Smith! This, of course, continues the ongoing Japanese and English musical project, which Nobuya and I have been involved with for a number of years. A collaboration, which has seen our music successfully performed both in the UK, and Japan. The CD's title, Anyday Now .

Very excited as tonight sees the premiere of my 'Within These Walls' in York! Commissioned for the launch of the very first York Culture Awards, it is being performed by the wonderful musicians Adam Parrish, Chris Bush, Mickey Moran and Nick Upton. House of Memory

Very excited to have attended the world premiere of my new work, "The House of Memory." Performed by Adam Parrish (piano) and Benjamin Lindley (baritone), the song cycle was written to a set of wonderful poems by Oz Hardwick. The rest of the evening featured song settings of mine, to poets Carole Bromley and Gillian-Byrom-Smith. So, a w
