Orchestral & Chamber Music

Peter has written many orchestral and chamber works. His music has been performed by International Festival Orchestra, Osaka Concert Orchestra, London Gala Orchestra, Strata String Quartet, Ensemble 315, York Festival Orchestra, Kreisler Duo, Utrecht Chamber Orchestra, amongst many other international artists.

Film & Theatre Music

Peter's theatre music is wide ranging: from Ayckbourn to Shakespeare and Music Hall, to contemporary drama productions. His soundtracks for film have been utilised by a range of animators, artists and directors; Clive Hicks-Jenkins, Lucy Madeleine Watson, Peter Telfer and James Condon.

Studio Work

His experience in the studio includes writing and arranging for pop/rock and folk musicians for both album release and concert tours. Recent artists have included, Jonny Walker Band, This Morning Call, Phil Friend and Cousin Jac. Peter provides music for art exhibitions at galleries and installations; artists include Peter Blake, Linda Combi, Trevor Price, Anita Klein and Mark Hearld.

Lectures

Peter works regularly as a guest lecturer in composition and arranging at universities in Manchester, Leeds and York. He facilitates workshops and is often requested to chair meetings and speak at seminars.
