Very excited as tonight sees the premiere of my 'Within These Walls' in York! Commissioned for the launch of the very first York Culture Awards, it is being performed by the wonderful musicians Adam Parrish, Chris Bush, Mickey Moran and Nick Upton. A bit of a supergroup, with each of the members being talented composers/songwriters/performers in their own right, it's quite an honour to be able to get them all together to play my music. Original idea was for a classical piece, but as its a real 'one off' launch event, I thought it should maybe a little different, so hence, the piece is for 'prog-rock' band, a sort of crossover collaboration and well exciting too!!
