Very excited to have attended the world premiere of my new work, "The House of Memory." Performed by Adam Parrish (piano) and Benjamin Lindley (baritone), the song cycle was written to a set of wonderful poems by Oz Hardwick. Between the two of us, I think we have created something that it is pretty unique, thoughtful, personal and reflective of the human spirit. The rest of the evening featured song settings of mine, to poets Carole Bromley and Gillian-Byrom-Smith. So, a whole evening of words and music in an intimate venue for such a fantastic project.
