It has been really great to be part of the Fountain 17 project. Gillian and I were asked to write a new work for the exhibition, to join other artists and their works, to be launched and be part of Hull City of Culture. The work we wrote was titled 'Marcel's Last Word' a soundscape for spoken voices and music ensemble. Had a tremendous day in Hull yesterday, as part of City of Culture 2017! The official launch of Fountain 17 project saw a massive turn out, with brilliant new art works, performances and lectures, throughout the day and set in three separate art galleries set along Humber Street, with a backdrop of the Marina and North Sea - and all totally crowded out, wonderful!! Including a new work 'Marcel's Last Word' for instrumental ensemble and spoken voices, created by me and Gillian
